If you are looking strictly at pure, raw performance data, SMC (specifically the HCL-RS series) is currently considered the number one FPV pack on the market.

For a long time, SMC was famous for dominating the RC car speed-run and large-scale EDF jet communities because they build cells that hold voltage incredibly well under massive amp draws. When they finally scaled that technology down into 6S FPV racing sizes (like their 1400mAh and 1600mAh packs), independent bench testing completely shook up the community.

The SMC HCL RS 1400mAh 6S LiPo battery pack delivers high-caliber, consistent power designed specifically for competitive FPV racing and aggressive freestyle flights. Built with a specialized formula that minimizes voltage sag and ensures maximum throttle responsiveness, this premium battery maintains high sustained voltage even under extreme racing loads. Engineered for durability, it features integrated protective plates to withstand severe impacts during intense flight sessions.

Features

Crazy Voltage Retention: They don't just give you a strong punch at the start of a pack; they hold their voltage high through the entire flight. You get that "fresh pack feel" even when down to the last 20% of your battery capacity.
Insane Burst Power: They handle full-throttle dumps with minimal sag, resulting in massive maximum burst power density.
Real Weight-to-Energy Ratio: They aren't just overloading the pack with extra material to fake a high C-rating. The cells are genuinely dense and highly efficient.

Engineered formula specifically optimized for high-performance FPV racing and freestyle builds
Advanced chemistry delivering explosive power with exceptional throttle response
Exceptional voltage stability under heavy load conditions to reduce performance drops
Integrated G10 top and bottom protective plates provide superior impact and crash resistance
Capable of supporting fast charge cycles up to 5C for minimal downtime between flights
Premium 12AWG silicone wiring ensures optimal current flow and minimal electrical resistance
